Dr. Salwa AlHajji
Dr. Salwa AlHajji, M.D., is a renowned Clinical Biochemistry Specialist at Jaber Al Ahmed Hospital and the Program Director for the Kuwait Board of Clinical Biochemistry and Metabolic Medicine at the Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations (KIMS). Alongside her clinical role, she is active in the Ministry of Health’s Laboratory Council and leads the Laboratory Safety and Risk Assessment team in the laboratory in Jaber Al Ahmed Hospital. A Kuwait University graduate and KIMS Board graduate, Dr. AlHajji is committed to advancing clinical biochemistry standards locally and internationally.

I got my postgraduate training in Medical Biochemistry and was awarded a certificate in Clinical Lipidology by the National Lipid Association in the United States. I have co-authored several publications in international journals mainly in lipid disorders. I actively contributed to the Familial Hypercholesterolemia Registry in MENA region and participated in several projects and campaigns to raise awareness to certain lipid disorders and non-communicable diseases. I am currently the Laboratory director at Dasman Diabetes Institute and I am also Faculty chair for clinical biochemistry program in Kuwait. In addition, head of the lipid clinic in Amiri Hospital

Dr. Anwaar AlAnjeri is a clinical biochemistry consultant. She is currently the laboratory director in Farwaniya Hospital. She chairs the examination committee of the Clinical Biochemistry program in KIMS.
